You will come home to yourself when you enter the kingdom of heaven because the kingdom of heaven is within you. You can always take refuge there. You will always find freedom there. You will discover joy, peace and beauty in the kingdom of heaven because the Kingdom is within you and all about you. If you cannot see it, do not feel it, then look again. Look more deeply. Look with your heart.
There is such power in coming home to the kingdom. And yet sometimes, I forget to take the first step toward my heart’s desire. Many times, I must talk myself into remaining quiet, allowing my turbulent thoughts to rise, fall, dissipate, choose and choose again to press forward beyond my fear toward the kingdom.
Sitting, walking, moving—it does not matter. What matters is seeking the silence in my own mind, listening to my heart, allowing my reactions to external conditions to calm and dissolve, exercising patience, compassion, making space to enter the kingdom of heaven within me.
I may abide in the kingdom for minutes or moments. It is an immeasurable gift of Grace either way. Here, I am connected with all that I love. I connect with Love Itself, and realize there is no one and no thing outside the boundless circumference of the One that is Pure and Perfect Love.
Beloved Sons and Daughters of the Most High, enter the kingdom of heaven within you and all about you. Remember that you are made from Love, for the purpose of Love and only Love is real. Return to the world bringing the kingdom of heaven with you/as you, letting the spirit of heaven bless everything and everyone through you. This is our soul’s charge. This is the reality of God as each of us.
